Do design goal tiles score the points printed on the tile or the rulebook values?
The designer ruled that the tiles are correct and the rulebook is wrong.

Use the values printed on the tiles. The designer said the tiles carry the intended simplified scores (7 for AA-BB-C-D, AAAA-BB and AAA-BBB) and the rulebook figure of 8 was a missed correction.
