The Troll destroys only enemy warriors; leaders, ships and other monsters survive. The Fire Giant is a "super-Troll" that destroys every enemy non-monster figure in the province, including leaders, ships and Mystics. The figures are destroyed outright, not in a battle, and give no Glory unless a card says so.
