Several players agree and a CMON producer called the Blessing out-of-turn and not your action.
Yes. It triggers whenever you lose a battle, including one on a rival's turn, and the free warrior is placed immediately after that battle, at no Rage, from your supply. It also triggers when nobody wins, because everyone loses.
