Can a God be moved to Yggdrasil after a pillage?
One player states this and the rulebook restrictions match, but no official post names Yggdrasil.

Yes, as far as players can tell. The restrictions are only that the province is not already pillaged, not destroyed and does not already hold a God, so Yggdrasil is a legal destination.
