Can I keep or switch my Fate between Acts, including after success?
Yes. After succeeding you may keep your Fate or switch to one new Fate dealt to you; after failing you're dealt two and must pick one. A C Fate can be chosen even after completing a B Fate, but you see only one C Fate. Fate-specific cards are scrapped when you switch, and Regent or Outlaw status stays.
