What happens to my ships when I lose a battle?
The rulebook's Damage Ships step and Shields section state this.
- Andromeda's Edge rulebook · Rulebook · Step 6 — Damage Ships
- Andromeda's Edge rulebook · Rulebook · Shields
Each defeated ship takes damage: a ship without shields (or with depleted shields) goes to the Scrapyard, while a ship with a shield stays and gets a damage marker. Ships that remain stay in the region afterward and don't cause another battle.
