What is the order of a Launch turn, and can I use a base action after the battle?
The rulebook lists the four launch steps.

The order is fixed: launch, activate the region, Raider Strike, battle. You can't take the base action after battle, even if a card moves your ship elsewhere. Battle happens even if your launched ship has left the region or turned into a development.
