Must all players use the same side of the Player board, and must Path board sides match?

Player boards must all be the same side (all A or all B), because they set building costs and penalties. Path boards are independent: each shows a different Evacuation condition, the rulebook has you pick a side at random, and it need not match your Player board or anyone else's Path board. Experienced groups may simply choose their Path side.
