Where can I build a stable?
The rulebook says stables are built on empty uncovered spaces and need not be adjacent.

On any farmyard space that holds no tile (not a room or field); one stable per space. Unlike rooms, fields and pastures, stables need not be adjacent to anything. Animals standing on the space do not block it.
