How many begging cards do I take when I can't feed my family?
A designer confirmed beggar cards are unlimited (ten missing food means ten cards), and the rulebook gives one marker per missing food.

One begging card for each missing food (not one per person or per harvest). Each is worth -3 points at the end and can't be discarded. Begging cards are not a limited component; if you run out, improvise a substitute.
