Where can animals live if I have no fences or stables?
Community replies; the rulebook excerpt doesn't describe the house pet.

Only one animal can live in your house as a pet. All other animals need a fenced pasture or an unfenced stable (one animal per stable). Animals can't just stand on open farmyard spaces.
