When a map lists a terrain build cost, does it apply to simple track only?

Question

Accepted Answer

Usually yes: the stated figure is for simple track and complex tiles add their normal extra ($1 for a coexisting tile, $2 for a crossing). Some maps state otherwise, so check the map's own rules. For example, on a Western U.S. swamp simple track is $4, coexisting $5 and crossing $6.
