How do summoned creatures (imp, skeletons, beast companion) work: targeting, healing and knock-out?
The rulebook lists the summon rules, and the designer added the buff details in 2021 and 2023.

Summons count as heroes for targeting and attacks, but you control their turns. The Imp cannot be damaged or knocked out. A skeleton that would be knocked out is removed and must be summoned again. The beast companion can be knocked out and healed. Revive potions never work on summons. A hero's passives and dice abilities do not apply to a summon's attacks, though Bard and Champion buffs do, and a summon does not count as a hero for knock-out objectives unless the scenario says so.
